Sheryl Underwood is an American comedian, TV host and actress most well-known for her role as host of the popular daytime talk show The Talk. She was brought up by Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised by the midst of a challenging family. She spent most part of her youth looking after Frankie. Frankie suffered from the disease polio. When she was a child, she had an uneasy relationship with her mom. Sheryl says that her mother once stabbed at her father because he was too close. Sheryl was a soldier after she graduated from college. Her passion for the military was comedy. In 1989 she was the first female to make it to the finals in the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. She began her TV career in 1992 being a regular actor on HBO's comedy program Def Comedy Jam. She hosted a show on television at the time of her debut on Oh Drama! In 2011, she began being a co-host for The Talk, a talk show. The Talk. She's also appeared in fictional show like Bulworth Niki as well as Beauty Shop.
