
Ky-mani Marley, who is close to completing his third album which is yet to be released, certainly is a superstar. Ky-mani was born in Falmouth, Jamaica, to Robert Nesta Marley, a legend and Jamaican champion at table tennis, Anita Belnavis. Ky-mani refers to an East African term meaning adventurous traveler. As the man who lives according to his title, each album or travel, is an adventure. The Journey was his first musical venture. His diverse vision enabled him to search for his niche and explore the many talents he has. in 2001 Many More Roads (Grammy-nominated) is a "traditional" reggae album , was made available, showing a more mature Ky-mani. Many More Roads, as along with The Journey are well-received throughout the world, and helped establish Ky-Mani's position as an independent "artist". Ky-Mani combines roots reggae and hip-hop R&B along with contemporary jazz and hip-hop to form his unique sound.
